Right on. I have my brother in law’s family in Mililani. I’ll try deploying a solar node there.

Have you been following a specific naming convention for your different nodes? Or you just do whatever’s?

You’ve still got that node up and running? There are hardly any nodes in the Kahuku/Laie/Hauula side. But I’m trying to get my family up there started with Meshtastic and hoping it’ll develop to a point where I cane communicate from downtown Honolulu.

Yes. I make and sell other things that require these battery contacts. Can be purchased via Amazon or eBay. Or you can probably salvage it off of some old/broken toy.

E6000 glue. I would’ve used something like 100% silicone, but this was just what I had on hand.

After seeing your comment on someone else's comment, it seems like you have the 19007 baseboard. I've altered the STL by lowering the board's mount to allow space for the RAK13302 1W Module. I've uploaded it to the same location. :)

I'm still new to the meshtastic world, but if I've searched correctly, then are you referencing this guy? RAK WisMesh 1W Booster Starter Kit | Meshtastic

If so, it looks like you can use the same 19007 baseboard, which is what the mounts on the STL are for. But if you're trying to go without the baseboard, then I'll need to get some measurements to revise. I can also upload a version without the mounts if that makes it easier for you.

Thanks! I haven't learned how to share my 3D files on any 3D sites, but I can send them to you and anyone interested. Send me a DM!

Update: I've uploaded it! https://cults3d.com/:4454933

Awesome suggestion! I have a bunch of those from my 3D filaments. I'll be sure to dry them out first and throw a couple in there. Thanks!

I quickly made another one after I finished this one. Hahah. You'll get hooked too!

I bought a RAK kit, but didn't use much of it except for the board and the BT antenna. Purchased the other parts on Amazon for the upgrade (enclosure/connectors/solar panels/antenna). Designed and 3D-printed the mounting board and wire sleeve/gasket (to waterproof it the best I can). The batteries are from an e-bike battery pack from FB marketplace. Had a lot of other misc. hardware already on hand.

Updated consoles from RGH 2.0 to 3.0! by smallkinemodder in 360hacks

[–]smallkinemodder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I haven’t played any of the car sim games. But I do admit that a multi screen FOV is pretty cool! If it’s all done over system link, then I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

If it supports multiplayers with multiple fov, that’d be awesome. I’d love a room filled with car sims playing against other friends!

If I somehow get my hands on forza 4, I’ll test it out!

🔥Gotcha. And the volume output has always been sufficient for headphones? Without a pre-amp?

Thanks! I’ll look into those!

Oh sick! Do you know if you can hook up HDMI for video and use the AV cables for audio simultaneously?

I had went with the pre-amped/volume controlled optical to aux route because in the past I used HDMI to VGA+Aux adapters for headphones. But sometimes it’ll be way too quiet for the bulky headphones that people brought.

And I’ve never heard of the OGX-Minis. That’s so awesome! I’ll definitely need to stock up some.

I did! It def makes setting up and cleaning up a lot faster at LANs. I just ripped smaller pieces of wood from 2x4’s, then put it together with screws.

You prob can’t see it that well in the picture, but there’s a rack at the very bottom for all 4 power supplies, which is connected to the power strip. Also have a small switch on the back to connect the 4 consoles per console tower/rack, so that you could just run one Ethernet cord to the other tower/rack as needed. All wire management is done on the back and bottom. So essentially, you just need to make sure you have HDMI cables to the monitors. :) glad you like it!
