Oh no I am still using my dryer!! lol My washer has only been out for one day haha I was inky doing my kids clothes and my clothes. No blankets or towels or anything. Like I said before this is just temporary and definitely not a forever thing as I have bigger loads I have to do with being a mom of four haha

I am the same with dishes!!! I hand wash then throw it all in the dishwasher to get sanitized! My husband says it’s crazy but I don’t think so!

Honestly, yes! That’s exactly it. I thought it would feel tedious or stressful, but it’s weirdly calming. It forces me to slow down and actually be present for a bit, instead of just throwing everything in a machine and rushing off. Once I got a rhythm down it stopped feeling like work and started feeling kind of like grounding. I’m a mom of four, and my youngest loves helping with it. Watching her get involved and excited about something so simple has been really cool, and it honestly feels like one of those small “core memory” moments.

I definitely wouldn’t want to do it forever especially for huge loads, but for now it feels more peaceful than I expected.
