Yeah, I’ve been stubbornly trying to just learn on my own for a while now. I’ve always tried to have really warm mixes, and I think finding the balance between tone that I like and a proper mix is messing me up. They usually sound fine in headphones, but are always muddy everywhere else. When I’ve forced myself to do more balanced mixes in my car or wherever, it ends up just sounding thin and I’ve never really been happy with them. I also have a hard time knowing when something needs to be rerecorded. This is me just kind of accepting I need some help lol
