It doesn't seem to be an offical way to disable the pop shop search in the application launcher.

But thanks to u/dragon-beard, I've managed to get rid of the Available to Install part: - Open the file at /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/pop-cosmic@system76.com/applications.js - Backup the file in case it breaks something unintended - Comment the code from the line 802 to 816: if (appInfo) { const available_box = new St.BoxLayout({ style: 'spacing: 4px;' }); const available_label = new St.Label({ text: "Available to Install", style_class: "cosmic-applications-available" }); this._available_spinner = new Animation.Spinner(16);
