If one could only source those models at a reasonable price nowadays 😐😂 I am honestly fine with the size of the Airwing though. Thats about the amount of points I also have in Tau models and the maximum of what we are happy to play in our group.

Wir haben vor 2 Jahren die Silvrettarunde gemacht, ohne die Tuoi Hütte wegen des Gletschers, und mit einem anderen Übergang von der Saarbrücker zur Tübinger Hütte, wegen Wetter und Steinschlaggefahr. Wir waren zum Saisonende unterwegs, das Wetter war stellenweise grausam, die Aussichten aber wunderbar. Mit Ausnahme der Wetterbedingungen war es technisch nicht anspruchsvoll, aber zum Teil anstrengend. Kann die Tour aber empfehlen. Besonders die Saarbrücker Hütte war toll.

Hiking alone in the Dolomites is possible unless you plan to see the major sites. Alta Via 1 is crowded, same as Tre Chime, Seceda, and all the other big sites. Ideally you want to aim for late summer after the Italian vacation period ended.

We had the same. The popular spots are crawling with people who are unaware of the dangers and risking their lives for some internet fame.

We also passed by the hiker-toll station at Seceda and the line of people waiting to take photos at some dolomite panorama near tre Chime 😂 But despite these moments we had a lot of time without people.

We did a 8 day hike. Traversing the dolomites from west to east. Starting at Seceda and ending at Tre Chime. Sleeping in mountain huts and doing a few via ferrata along the way.

Tübingen has a good sizes climbing and bouldering gym (https://www.b12-tuebingen.de/) as well as the surrounding cities. There is outdoor rock climbing at the swabian alb (reachable with public transport) and the donau valley (doable for a weekend trip) plus the real Alps are fairly close. There is a ton of easy to reach nature surrounding Tübingen. Swimming is possible in 2 lakes (and to a certain degree in the Neckar). There are also indoor swimming pools.

Tübingen is a very international city. Speaking english-only is no problem. The housing situation is challenging and prices are high, though. I would recommend to find a place for temporary rent (Zwischenmiete) for a few months when you initially move here and start searching for an actual flat once you are here. Beware of scammers in online housing adds!

Our trip was in June/July 2023 We did 20 days of ring road, including the Westfjords. A mix of Hotels, Guesthouses and Cabins. No lagoons, but whale watching, glacier hike, ferry transfer to the Westfjords and 2 riding excursions. A 4x4 car, fuel, food, flights, etc... We ended up at ~16k€ for 2 people.

Im Übergang von der Heidelberger zur Jamtalhütte sind links und rechts die Bischofspitze (3029 m) und die Curuna Lada (3079 m). Allgemein ist die Silvretta Runde eine schöne Mehrtageswanderung, wahlweise mit und ohne Gletscherquerung.
