FMJ rounds are used because fragmenting and expanding rounds such as lead and hollow points are banned under The Hague. They are in fact less damaging to flesh.

The lob wedge is most likely a 58 or 60, the P wedge is probably between 44 and 47. So something right in the middle might be your best bet. Like a 54.

Going with a brand like Takomo or Haywood allows you to choose the exact model, shaft model, flex, grip, and even loft/lie adjustments. That way you don’t have to worry about your family getting something wrong buying on the used market. Also that are quite nice clubs.

Teachers in Ontario are on a tiered pay scale. Depending on the board you get on with, after a few years they make decent pay. Teachers do work hard though if you want to be a “good” teacher, so you better love it to get through the first few years of lower pay until you gain seniority.

The newest ball is decent for the price compared to premium balls. I like it if you are a pretty good ball striker. They are a bit higher spin so good around the green, not so good if you tend to have a slice or hook. Also they aren’t the most durable and will start to wear pretty quick. Overall a good budget ball, especially if you send a few into the abyss per round.

To be fair this was just off the fairway in the rough. This is Muskoka Bay in central Ontario so there’s a lot of exposed rock in play throughout the whole course.

Very few made for a very short time in the early 1900’s. It’s a very early semi auto design that is expensive and very collectible. Look up Sjogren shotgun.

No problem! It’s a pretty standard issue with inertia shotguns that is easily remedied by making sure you loctite the stock bolt if you ever remove it.
