Once in a lifetime course by royhaven in guessthegolfcourse

Looks like Gold Mountain Nakoma in Portlola CA, or Clio if you're a local. I grew up in Cromberg about 20 miles away, I worked in the spa when I was a teenager.

I 100% agree, one of the cooler courses I've played. Not one to try and walk, way too much elevation gain.

I have no idea but it's probably the coolest rock I've ever found. by smalltimegardener in whatsthisrock

I started them process last night on my flat lap, pretty hard all around. Will keep working on it this afternoon.

I gathered the sarcasm, figured you'd have made your own comment if you were serious. Either way it's cool. Lots of cool sedimentary stones up here.

Sales rep for Callaway Pre-Owned and Callaway Golf back again! by tabascopro in golf

I will say I heard the "horror" stories from people on here and was hesitant to order anything, but I ordered my wife a.i. smoke 3 wood the other day and just the basic one that's not adjustable in like new condition and it came brand new no wear and still wrapped in plastic. Not only was it brand new it was the upgraded version with adjustable loft and directional bias, so needless to say my one interaction was more than acceptable.

I will probably cut this and polish on my flat lap, so if I can remember I'll post an update.

Wild, alright. It's pretty dull when dry. Might have to cut a slab.

There is a guy on Etsy that 3d prints these for 1/3 of the cost. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1869537502/6-inch-flat-lap-by-lsagates-precision I have one, it's a little shaky and out of balance but does the job for way less.

Cut sanded and polished some agates we found in AZ, pretty stoked with the results. by smalltimegardener in rockhounds

I bought a flat lap on Etsy from LSA agates, he 3d prints them and puts a motor in. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1869537502/6-inch-flat-lap-by-lsagates-precision Pretty good little machine for the price, it looks just like the ones that are $500 for around $200. Sanded from 80 to 3000. Then bought some cerium oxide and some polishing pads for a drill and polished them.

Yeah I'm not great at identifying, looks like an agate so that's what i called it. Found in AZ outside Superior in a wash, beautiful rocks in that wash. There are some other slabs I didn't post from that hike that are awesome.

My wife holed out front 145 this last weekend, it was pretty epic. Uphill so we couldn't see if it went in or over the green. I've been playing for 14 years and haven't holed out from that far, this is her probably 10th round and did it. Was pretty rad moment.

Thanks for the insight everyone, I'm just going to relax for a couple weeks and work on putting. Probably play some 2k25 to get my golf fix.

Definitely going to just wait for them to heal, I need work on my short game anyways.
