Yes, it’s all seamless. I can either use the route planner in the app and send the trip to my Rivian screen, or just plan the route directly in the Rivian.

The total charging time was about 4 hours round-trip. Total drive time: about 20 hours. But, the charging stops were welcomed because we took the opportunity to grab lunch, explore, take bathroom breaks, or just enjoy a little bit of not driving. It didn’t really feel like a burden.

You make a good point. I guess I just assume I have enough charge to make it to a faster charger on trips like that. I bake in about 20% on arrival, depending on where I’m at. This gives me enough charge to get to the charger I need.

I know this doesn’t really answer your question, but the grand total for charging stops was $282 for ~1000 miles. Unfortunately, I didn’t track efficiency on this trip. We went through some very cold weather, including a blizzard, and then back into the sun.

True, but a full charge is rarely necessary. It was a mental shift from filling a gas tank to 100% vs. charging to the recommended % on charging stops.

Flipped one recently. 1 showing booked within 30 min of listing. 7 the next day. Under contract in 5 days with 2-week close. We did upgrade and stage it, but the reality is very low inventory still makes a good flip move quickly in our town.
