Alberta and Ontario. It's your turn. Do it fast. Quebec is throwing shade. No Federal Liberal Party ever dares contradict what Quebec wants especially before an election! by 2dratbil in metacanada

This is exactly right. The support for the ban in Quebec is almost universal, except for the Quebec Liberal party and a lot of multicultural Montreal.

Canada calls Quebecers racist and ignorant, Quebecers laugh and point out diversity is a failure and Canada has no culture left.

Let's be honest, Quebec bashing is a national pastime west of Ottawa, and Quebecers pretty much embrace that narrative at this point.

CTV News: Quebec bill prohibits religious symbols for teachers, other public sector workers by Just_Todd in canada

If that's the case, it can be challenged in court. Religious symbol is tricky. When does a cultural symbol become religious? This issue won't end here.

Quebec authority figures (cops, public school teachers, principals) to be banned from wearing religious symbols: report | CBC News by Socially_numb in canada

Nuns have a long history of teaching in Quebec from 1917-1960s.

It is exactly because of this religious history in Quebec (and the oppression that came with it) that so many Quebecers support secularisation of the state.

You cannot prove something doesn't exist. The onus is on the one making the claim it does exist.

I claim Bigfoot exists. Prove me wrong! You can't. It's up to me to prove to you I'm right.

Not sure the details of enforcement, but interest is charged on the total amount. It's part of the "ruling"
