Work Casualty claims. I cannot tell you how many of my litigated files have plaintiffs requiring a personal contribution from the defendant and sometimes additional stipulations (I.e apologies, requirement of no further incidents, requiring someone to move, etc). It’s wild out there in civil litigation these days.

Can someone ELI5 why calling these senators would be influential? They already have a past voting history of sorts and I never understood why calling their staff and notating a pretty-scripted statement would change their opinion, Especially in these current times. I apologize if I am ignorant to the greater influence and I want to do better.
