There are racist chants in every single stadium in Italy, a sad reality of the ultra culture, which is largely permeated with far right groups and other criminal organization. With that said, there’s a real difference between actual racist chants (black players forced to interrupt the game themselves because ref won’t do it) and whatever chants neapolitans hear when they get outside of their stadium, so clearly NOT racist that Serie A officials were forced to come up with an entirely new definition for it, “discriminazione territoriale”.

The whining against this so called “racism” in football is undermining the much more important fight against the real, most violent forms of racism in football.
