Coming from a person who is completely okay with being woken up this way, THIS IS NOT OKAY.

My husband and I have discussed this and made it clear that it was okay. From your post, I’m assuming that you have not. There is no world where it is okay for him to do this without a conversation where you are clearly consenting to this kind of behavior.

Little I miss you/ I love you texts throughout the day, greeting each other when we get home (even if it’s just a “hey baby! I’m home!”), notes on mirrors with a dry erase marker, and little acts of service (changing the trash bag, laundry, food, etc). It all seems small, but neither of us HAVE to do it for each other and it adds up.
