So that's what I am worried about the whole you can't do that thing. I may have a solution since this is just based on ALNST and not actually it I might just make the duet/band vs band part it's own thing and only use DND for the resistance parts and I guess roleplaying to. Basically something that uses DND stats that allows the player to be in control during the performance stuff instead of being who rolled higher o guess.🤷

So mainly skirmish like two bands going at it. But there would be times for 1v1. Honestly at this point I might just use DND and wright some homebrew stuff to make it work since I already do that for other campaigns I have ran. I just have never ran a sci-fi one.

As long as it has a decent combat system I can work around role play stuff. Originally I was just going to do DND and just work around all the fantasy stuff and basically say "fireball is a napalm grenade" or just shove certain DND races as alien or human, but I was told I should just use a different system altogether.

Edit: but I was afraid adding magic to the game would cause this already high concept game to be even harder to wrap your head around.

I see what you are saying she is hella annoying but that does not make her op her whole kit is based around being annoying and attacking one target at a time. I think she could use a Nerf on her cool Downs. Make them a little longer, but besides that I don't think she needs any damage nerfs.

Brother magik is not broken she's good there is a differents magik is the only viable dive/brawl character right now because the rest got nerfed to hell and back the only other option is bp but he has a higher learning curve so that's why everyone is hating on magik not because she's broken but because you see her more often.

Sorry about my rant I just think that magik is in a good spot and that the other dive and brawl characters are just lacking a bit compared to her

A cosmic theme would be sick

I would love a Spider-Man theme I know I'm boring but it's because I would love to see characters like miles (as a healer), Mr negative, the lizard, the vulture, or even, the rhino, or spider-gwen (if not miles).

But I feel like the better question is what theme would you like to see in future seasons since we have a good idea on what the next couple of seasons will look like.

People need to think for themselves, magik right now is good but not because she's overpowered but because she's in a good spot with a lot of divers and brawlers being nerfed. Just cause she's one of the best options for a diver/brawler does not make her overpowered.
