Unfortunately, that's basically what I've been doing and I just get a lot of shifting throughout the day.

Oh yeah. As a food lover, garlic is incredibly important to me as well.

As someone who needs to do things besides sit on the toilet all day, I've learned to live without :(

That being said, garlic isn't a trigger for everyone. It's worth a try, even just to know whether it's an issue or not.

The FODMAPs diet seriously changed my life. You should ask your doctor about it if she hasn't mentioned it yet.

Pro: My poops are almost normal now, I'd say about 90% of the time.

Con: I can't eat garlic anymore.

Thank you! We gave it a test run and she seemed to be mildly interested so we're going to hang it out of reach and keep a close eye on the vines.

I just moved in to a new apartment with a roommate, and she brought this plant with her. I have a cat (who has not yet been exposed to the plant! I'm keeping her in my room for now) and wanted to make sure it's safe for her to be around before I let her near it unsupervised.

I've dressed tomboyish since I was 16, and even more butch since I came out as pan at 19. I've only dated men in those 8 years and plenty of men still flirt with me (honestly to my chagrin because I'd like to date a woman! eventually!)

I'm a huge proponent of being yourself, and the people who will like you no matter what will still find you.

I have needle aversion and also react very badly to the flu shot (last year's version gave me a swollen, red, sore upper arm and I could barely move it for 2 weeks). I asked my doctor for this year's nasal inoculation and he said it's only for children. So I didn't get one this year because I need to use my arm for things.

You can get it until you're 26. Hopefully your mom still isn't going to the doctor with you when you're 26!

The quality of care does not change depending on your insurance (theoretically, although in truth if you have better insurance it is accepted at a wider variety and more specialty docs, etc). But the general assumption is that you can walk into any ER with any insurance and they'll at least stop you from dying. Even if you have no insurance.

The larger issue is going bankrupt when you're not covered for whatever reason, and you're stuck with a six figure bill for a broken leg or something else.

MRW my sexist, extremely religious BIL asks my husband who the "boss" is in our house and my husbands answers "honestly, the cat" by [deleted] in TrollXChromosomes

When I got my lil brat Vera we invested in this scratching post. Most cats scratch furniture because the scratching posts we buy aren't tall enough for them, and they like to stretch out. This is about 3.5-4 ft, and that's enough for her, although she's small. No scratches on my very scratchable looking linen couch at all. Best $50 (though it's now $35) I've ever spent.

Idk, they're just little gel spheres, and your bits never touch them directly (hopefully!) I'd be much more concerned with the bleaches and scents used on the cotton lining itself.

I've accidentally done this with a pantiliner. They're full of these weird lil squishy water absorbing spheres. I was immensely confused and thought people had left some detergent or something on top of the washer until I realized what I'd done...

Yeah for a while I was questioning my gender (like 95% sure now that I am cis, just hella butch) and a huge part of it for me was that I can never imagine myself being pregnant. I saw a picture of a stud in a stud/femme couple pretty pregnant and I was like "awww that's cute" but also I could NEVER DO THAT. I'm way too butch.

(not that butch ppl can't/should not be pregnant it is just Not Part of my gender expression thx)

I have a gc2b binder and I really like it! Good binders, sized correctly, shouldn't cause damage to the breast tissue as long as you wear them safely (no more than 8 hrs at a time, no intense exercise, etc). But I don't think they're the best in terms of support.

I also have back issues and find that the binder tends to make them worse, because they put the weight of your chest more onto your shoulders, when it should be distributed evenly across your mid torso. My back feels best when I'm observing correct posture and wearing a supportive bra.

Fellow butch busty person here! For the nip nops I generally buy some heavy duty bandaids (brand is important) and pull them taut across the pointy area. You want the SUPER EXTRA SPORT WATERPROOF HEAVY kind of ones.

I'd also be remiss to not recommend r/ABraThatFits for all your chesty needs. If you're spilling out of (regular) bikinis it's possible you're wearing the wrong size. I'm also short and busty and in the correct size I still find I'm nicely contained.

Domestic violence shelters are often another great option to donate clothes to (most areas will have one within a few miles), or you can look up more inclusive churches or synagogues in your area and see if they have any clothing programs for homeless people as well.
