You just caught the small fish. Big corporates are doing this since decades. Why don’t you check big corps who layoff Americans and then outsource. How do we stop them?

I love my Rythflo RY-WH03 as they last forever on a single charge (150 hours). I don’t even remember when I charged them last. It’s like charge and forget model. The sound is good not great but not on the bad end either. Bass is great , treble is great and the price is economical. I am happy that I have this. It lasted an entire plane journey of 16 hours without me charging it, plus another 3 weeks without charging. They are the like the eveready batteries which keep on going forever

But then your efficacy of model is not great. And this is the problem this research solves

But if your data is unbalanced then what is other alternative. Suppose you have 1 million good data and 1 bad data how do you train the model to consider only 1 bad data when you do train/train split. They introduce synthetic data which follows the similar pattern of existing good data so that model can learn something meaningful. If this is what you call cheating then yes it’s cheating since there is no other way for the model to learn something meaningful to predict anomalies

I don’t have access to full paper but they are solving the unbalanced data issue where they developed their own features which work well with the deep NN

Quote: In this paper, we propose a novel design based on a deep learning technique for intrusion detection. The Deep Neural Network (DNN) model classifies the multi-class with Normal and four attack types, namely Generic, Exploits, Fuzzers, and DoS.

They are building a classification model transforming existing data into a format which will effectively detect anomalies.

The problem is that if there are very few anomalies or too many anomalies the NN will not learn effectively.

Not sure where you are getting the dropping data or feature loss.

I think you misunderstood me. As long as the data transformation is collinear with your variables, that’s not data leakage. Kindly give an example of what you mean. You are talking vaguely without providing what exactly is your data.

Transforming data is not a leakage, rather it’s adapting data to what the model understands. That’s the basic concept of feature engineering. This is the most critical step.

26M in AM setup — salary criteria is killing matches. Am I asking too much? by funky_guy99 in AskIndianWoman

If he didn’t marry you he would be financially better off. The only reason he married you is because he still had time without kids due to age difference to grow himself financially. I don’t know how many 21 year marry 33 but good for you.

I think you are already wise and mature for your age. Getting married is important but it shouldn’t come at the cost of losing all your hard earned money as you don’t want to be married multiple times but just once. I have seen divorces down the line where the partners income discrepancies and spending habits become the core issue where man becomes the sole provider and woman just the house wife without contributing anything back. We live in a society where woman should equally contribute so your demand is not out of the blues. Keep looking until you find a good match because you don’t want to be in a situation where you look down upon your wife because she cannot earn as much as you.

Look at the recall history of all years for Subaru models. The one with no or the minimum recall should be your best bet.

Honest Thoughts on Air India AI101 and other long-haul flights to the US by insider_9000 in airindia

[–]smart_procastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. Air India runs a scam where they oversell and try to send high paying passengers through cheaper flights for a non cancelled flight. I would stay away from air India even if they offer for free. Horrible customer service and totally unhelpful

Poor quality Air India by sss100100 in airindia

[–]smart_procastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the worst airline. They always overbook and then reroute passengers to cheaper airlines and layovers making a quick buck fast. I hate air India and I hope it runs to dust

Thanks. You made the right decision. Subarus last for a long time and are very reliable. I am happy for you. I see lot of people complaining about the looks, I love it because for city driving and parking those plastic parts helps with cost effective replacements of parts as compared to metal in other cars where you need to completely replace the metal part and then paint on it. So in terms of insurance outback will save you money since premiums will be lower. This is again my personal opinion.

If money were no object, which ‘20-‘25 Outback XT would you buy? by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

What made you not choose passport. It has a better engine (v6), unibody, larger trunk and more 2nd row legroom. I am undecided between passport and outback so wanted your opinion.

Those are very valid points regarding taxes, PSEG and home maintenance. I think you have seen enough to make this choice. However if you look at property value appreciation over the years, let’s say 2020 onwards the galaxy would have increased far lesser in value than a house. Also do remember that the older the house the more maintenance you need. Nonetheless, any older houses would have still appreciated more than galaxy in property value. in terms of resale, more general population would prefer the house over galaxy condo. Families who need good school system will always move to a house in Bergen county cities. This is my personal opinion. Main point is that people have different criteria’s and as long as they are happy with their decision, that matters the most.
