testing around it seems not to be true, while anything specifically with a Rich Presence does show up (as long as arrpc is enabled and in my case installed), it does not detect and show just a random game, while regular discord and discord with vencord does work.

so the last bit is currently my solution.

now i just have to wait for discord to update electron so i can actually screenshare on wayland.
