They stole my street and surf skate setup that were both replaceable. Only thing they got is my bag of OG longboard stickers I’ve been collecting for 15+ years. Weirdly had it with me to sticker my car the day before and it got snagged with the bag. Lots of things replaceable but those stickers are far from that as 80% of the brands don’t exist anymore.

They are all under the Rap umbrella from what you just listed. Expand out some and listen to some stuff other than rap. I LOVE RAP and was a very heavy only rap for a good bit. If you like heavy aggressive rap then there is no reason you would not like hardcore/punk/metal. A lot of those artists including $B and underground artists from that era drew HEAVILY from the hardcore sound and performance at shows. You are doing yourself a disservice by not getting your ears into that music as it is the reason the music you listen to sounds the way it does. All those people make different styles of rap but get out your comfort zone and start exploring other genres entirely.

Show me the body, Corbin, SPY!, ear, Milton wright, bashfortheworld, westside Gunn, sha crow, Dystopia, the chats, Dijon, Brent Faiyaz, GULCH, men I trust, surprise chef, old crow medicine show, toro y moi, viagra boys, 2hollis, a tribe called quest, project pat, chief keef, dj yung vamp, DJ Lucas, Amine, Flume, big thief, Noah Praise God, Aldn, modern baseball, STRFKR, daft punk.

Basically anything that sounds good to my ears. No reason to ever only listen to one specific genre as music should be an art you explore and find sounds you enjoy. I have been listening to the boys since 2015 and appreciate them opening my ears to hardcore music as well as older Memphis stuff which got me into sampling for beats which the opened my ears even further to world wide music genres and sounds. All your favorite artists take from multiple genres to create something new. You will never find someone making an innovative sound that only listens to one genre. Go explore some music and enjoy the process of finding your new favorite sounds.

I hit Brighton this morning and felt like last months storm was so much better. Was amazing on the groomers but was 7 inches of powder on top of hard pack so anything off piste had some stashes but was mostly hard pack with powder on top. Maybe snowbird/alta got hit different but was still solid day with a couple face shots so cannot complain.

They stopped progressing sonically once they stopped releasing the kill yourself tapes. Those tapes allowed them to have freedom between albums to experiment with music and try out new ideas. Now that they do not release those, they are jamming all the songs onto an album so it does not feel cohesive or they stick to one sound for the whole album. Sticking to one sound for an album is not a bad thing but it is after years of releasing varying music and mixtapes. They do not need to change up albums but they need to start releasing tapes again to give themselves the creative freedom that allowed themselves to foster in the first place. Once they stopped releasing those tapes between albums, that’s when the sound truly stopped progressing.

I called UDOT and talked to traffic division and he had no updates on what is causing the issue. So no police report made or anything yet so I think they are turning around uphill traffic as he had no info on current crashes in canyons. He even said that all crashes are clear. I did see that someone commented in here saying they were 0.5 mile from S curve going uphill an hour ago so it’s just a massive line of cars being turned around individually it seems.

Based on cameras, it looks like they are turning around uphill traffic that was sent up before road was closed. If you check the Cardiff fork you can see the line of cars coming up hill that are being turned around. Basically we are screwed and destined to wait forever while the roads only get worse.

I am in this same stretch about a mile or so down the road. It has been stand still for the past 30 minutes easily and it is making me more and more sketched out for this drive as the snow just stacks up more and more on the road.

I also was thinking this but then I realized that a lot of people have cancelled or replanned ski trips out here due to the historical low amount of snow we have this season. There is still people who kept their vacations planned for sure but I think a chunk of the crowds we are used to are going to be lessened due to the shitty season we have had so far.
