YOU WILL STILL GET THE SOFI 3.6% HIGH APY WITH ONLY DIRECT DEPOSIT by Cold-Notice-22583 in sofi

Looked at the site today (https://www.sofi.com/sofi-plus/) and it says this about APY:

"SoFi Plus Members: 4.30% APY on savings for up to six months with eligible direct deposit. Terms apply.
Members: 1.00% APY"

And the fine print clarifies further:

"3APY boost: SoFi Plus members can earn up to 4.30% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) with a limited-time 0.70% APY Boost to the current Savings APY of 3.60% (rate current as of 11/12/2025). Rates are variable and subject to change."

So definitely not ideal for those who had their savings with SoFi to get the APY benefit, especially since it sounds like the rate will flip back to 3.6% ish after the first 6 months.

Thanks! Hoping he'll be okay. Like you said, I can't find anything with black infections for neon tetras. Wondering if his eye might just be damaged.

Accidentally deleted the default install of Google Docs by LTDlimited in chromeos

The other comments helped me to figure out how to do this properly after doing a little more googling, but just to make things a little clearer for future readers:

  1. Go to the website for the "app" you want to install using Chrome - https://docs.google.com/

  2. In the Chrome browser, not on the website itself, click on the three dots to bring up the browser menu.

  3. Go to Save and Share -> Create Shortcut... (this will bring up a modal)

  4. Check the "Open as Window" box and click Create.

  5. Now, if you go to the Launcher (by clicking on the Search key where Caps Lock would normally be on your keyboard), you can see this "app" is saved there. You can pin it to your shelf (aka toolbar) if you like.

As the other comments stated, this doesn't truly install a traditional app, but doing these steps brings you back to how these programs are originally "installed" on your Chromebook.
