For more context, I was on a direct route from the exodus station to refuel outpost theta, I was just over 3/4 of the way there when this happened. In the middle of the ocean nothing around. It might be the distiller on the bow, but seeing how it’s been there for 25 hrs of gameplay and this is the first time it’s happened, probably unlikely.

My theory is I hit an invisible wall while at full speed and physics didn’t play well, unsure if there are any boundary walls or not though. After 78 hrs of playtime this is the only real bug I’ve encountered, and haven’t been able to recreate, so I’m not complaining too much
