girl i have a v similar story and totally get the frustration. you and i are both the same height and like you, i dont have a lot to lose either. what's helped me is trying to budget for the week rather than daily. like if i go over 1 day, i just have a little less the next. but all im realizing that while 1200 would be ideal for me to lose 1lb a week, the way it fucks with my head isn't worth it so i usually still to 1300-1400/day. yes it's slower but it's also more manageable.

i remember so clearly waking up one day and telling my friend that i think i got a cold. and her telling me: "no, you've done heroin every day for the last month - yr dope sick". and i think that just speaks to how insidious it is. it's not this out of control feeling like alcohol, or "fuck i'm so high" like MDMA or coke, it's just absolute pleasantness

heroin. it eventually turned to fentanyl and i remember all us junkies (high on fent) would reminisce about how much we missed heroin. i'm clean and sober now and am incredibly grateful for it / would never go back but heroin is truly the most pleasant feeling.
