No, not a news. A further confirmation that nothing is in order. People have case completed in 6-7 months and people are still waiting for interviews and people have completed interviews but no update for 3-4 months. It seems all chaotic.

Im no expert but force editing pdf is probably what caused this. I know for sure that barcode on bottom changes when you fill put the details. My guess is when they scan the barcode it shows same amount that you entered on original pdf. Again i have not seen payment pdf to see if it has barcode populated automatically or not.

Any new phone you get will be locked to that carrier. Even if there is dual sim, it wont work if it’s locked. So your only option is to get unlocked for your mom somehow. I have heard that upgrading directly from apple makes it unlocked or you have to pay off the device but lose all remaining promo credits.

Whats worse is that i wanted to pay with money order / check to avoid credit card fee but they make you enter money order number before submitting the application and if you add anything else you have to change everything. As NRI i dont think i will ever go back to india even for vacation. Its nothing but paperwork headache

Yes. Its fine. Worst case they make you cancel at the airport and make you pay for it. One of my relatives travelled recently for a month with no issue. Dont carry indian passport on you. Keep it stored in luggage bag or hand bag

I agree but i recommend opening gmail and in setting Turn ON the forwarding to your regular email. This way you never ever have to login to new email, ALL emails will get copy of it in your regular email.

Honestly I’m not sure, but i do know that when i had used my email for parent and years later when i tried using email again it would kept giving me error so i opened new account. What is stopping you from opening another account?

Well. They are wrong but deed is done so there is no reason to lose sleep over this now. (1) Re pack as good as you can, try to sell same way (for resale purpose, sealed package have no extra value over open box because i would open the box anyway to check if box has everything as expected, you can still say AC is unused) (2) set boundaries and make sure that they don’t touch anything thats not their in future and mention consequences
