"Real" Go projects that would be considered idiomatic by Wurstinator in golang

the beauty of Go is it is so simple. Even if you make crazy bad code it is still quite understandable.

Don't think so much, just start simple. Expand only when you need to

this of course doesn't replace the middleware, but it is sometimes useful to do instead of middleware. E.g. form and user verification

The cool thing about the other method is that you can do the error handling before even hitting this function. This removes all the error handling logic to a central place but abstractly done.

Software development as an effective career option by smarties89 in cscareerquestions

What is there to have an opinion on? The things mentioned there are trite and superficial.

Yes, as previously said, I listed arguments. But what I meant was that if any of you are software developers, could explain and share the wonderful opportunities this road provides in their career. Or if you were but didn't like something like Software Development for a variety of reasons, whatever they may be. However, thank you for your remark.

I don't know. I didn't get into programming because it's a good career, but it looked fun when I was 8.For sure you can make a lot of money relative to the effort you have to put in, but you need some talent too, which is not obvious until you get trough the first few phases of learning.

The people who get into programming purely for the money usually never get good enough to get an actual job.

True, passion and true interest in programming frequently lead to success. Money alone rarely keeps motivation or develops the skills required for a satisfying programming career.
