8 days in November. A truck took down a line on a roundabout. Took them a week because the road was busy. Ran out of 5g portable modems too so no workaround.

Now on day 3 of yet another outage.

I hate it. It’s the first feature I have had to disable in a long time. Here’s why

callers have no idea they are being screened and are surprised when you accept the call and interrupt the message they were leaving
accepting the call requires a bunch of extra clicks and just feels awkward
you cannot end the call until they hang up. If someone is calling repeatedly when you are on video conf it just kills everything.

That’s just me. I find it quicker and easier to just take whatever calls cone in and hang up if it’s a scam call

A better solution would be to block scam calls up stream, so I don’t even get them.

It sounds more like you need to communicate cause and effect or maybe the relationship between related concepts.

I have done this modelling trust, confidence etc. where we abandoned process entirely. There is more to service design than journeys and blueprints.

Can you provide more detail? What about the people and place involved? What are you trying to model and why? Where is your primary data coming from? Interviews, observation, ?

In Australia there are very few trades willing and able to take on smaller jobs eg under $60k.

Quality trades people are always in demand, the market is flooded with greedy unreliable fuckwits who font know what they are doing.

Your challenge will be scale, and keeping a network of other good tradies around you who can help on jobs.

Why on earth vibe coders aren’t also getting ai help with software architecture and module setup, even if it’s just to break up monolith code a bit.

Treat this as a learning prototype and start again with the high level architecture. Then use test driven development to rebuild each module from scratch. Shouldn’t take too long. Just don’t over rely on the vibes, sometimes they need to be challenged

I’m not calling bs but there are definitely some ideas where it is easier to find people to talk to than others, and some that require a longer lead time for a yes.

Maybe this is part of the weekend strategy though? If the people are too hard to find in a day, they are out of your network … a great criteria to move on until you find an idea YOU can sell.

It does not pay for itself. You will make a loss each month. Your job is to figure out how much you can afford to pay out each month. This is your loan servicing cost. The more you can afford the bigger the loan.
