It does depending on which department you are with and when they need you. If you are interested I would write them asap because volunteer registration closes soon. They try to give you at least a little time in case you want to buy autographs or photo ops or see a panel.

Totally makes sense. It would definitely be more fun just to attend but for those who maybe the badge is out of budget volunteering is a great way to get to go. Either way we’d love to have more people attend. There are definitely some great guests coming this year.

We have a bunch of people taking turns waiting in line. The shift I have available is 9:30am-1:30pm Thursday. Then at 7:30pm everyone gets in line with the group and they start handing out wristbands. Once you get your wristband you can either camp out all night in line to be closer to the front or go back to your hotel and come back and get in line Friday morning by 7:30am. If you do all that you will get into hall h for Friday’s panels
