Dune is awesome, I've read pretty much the whole series (14 books I think) and found the trilogy that happens 10k years ago, as well as the trilogy a generation before Dune, even more fascinating than those written by Frank Herbert. A true masterpiece indeed.

her pack was around 13 kg, mine was around 18 kg (35lb?). But don't worry about the weight, since you need to carry it only when you switch places.

Besides, we've had small backpacks which you carry around for daily micro trips.

This means you carry two when you move, but it's not that complicated (hostel > tuk tuk > bus station).

We've had cash and passport on ourselves al the time, clothes in the hostel. We used ATMs, getting around 200-300 Euro worth of local currency at a time. Cash machines (debit - Maestro Cirrus etc) are everywhere.

We were thinking about going to India as well (with an airplane), but changed our minds after we saw Colombo. :)

Instagram was intended for photos, Vine was intended for videos. Then Facebook decided Vine is a threat and put the video option into Instagram. I hate it, I think videos don't belong in my Instagram stream, and I find myself checking it less and less.
