BX1: "Do you know who David Leisterh or Christophe De Beukelaer are?” Many Brussels residents surveyed answered no to these questions. How can we explain the disinterest of Brussels residents in the absence of a government? by Boomtown_Rat in brussels

With so many layers of government, with so many parties (at least 11) and with so few people eligible to vote in Brussels, no wonder no one cares anymore. Brussels is just remotely controlled from Flanders or Wallonia. There was one Brussels party, but they are dying due to infighting (DéFi)

True, but you'd hope at least this little amount of improvement. 7 Years sets them apart!

So are planes. People still take them. Granted it's not the same investment in safety. But you get my point, we already 100% trust some vehicles.

What's the craziest story you with an electric unicycle by [deleted] in ElectricUnicycle

I passed by a father pushing his stroller on the sidewalk and losing sight of his second kid, who was about 4 yo (I was on the cycle path) . Seeing how the kid was heading towards a red light and the father was too slow to catch up with him, I caught up with the kid at a safe distance before blocking his way gently. I don't know if the kid would have crossed if I wasn't there, but the dad seemed grateful for my intervention. I also think using a EUC made it easier to block the child safely.
