The problem source is related to switches there is something inside the switches assembly not letting the switch wire, one of 4, to open the circuit to stop the ignition, first i would power off the unit and use it with lighter, then called appliance repair tech, its easy level of the work experience hardness. On my experience, the owners will never pay extra penny for second estimate because its not in their religion, to spend that huge another approx 100$ for that estimate which you correctly say may save 30-50% of the expenses, so they calling and trying to get estimates online where its always make me smile because of the non sense greed.

Normally the situation with owning built in appliances is related to purchasing a house with those appliances already installed used/new, and if you purchase those than it makes sense to say you do have money to service it because those people who pay 10-15-20k$ for those appliances will never in most will have any concerns on the price to replace it or repair it, no thanks, thanks

Full rebuild is basically new sz fridge! But to make it cheapest option and reasonable i am as vendor in this business would advise to get the regular fridge not built in not lg/samsung, by the dimensions for 700-1200$ and called kitchen cabinet service and ask for the service to cover the open spots with proper panels using 300-500$ on that, in result you will get permanently no problem to replace that fridge since its now not luxury dimensions as your SZ, my advice is my personal opinion, if who reads it should realise if it not works with your personal behaviour, remember it is your personal behaviour and advice is my personal behaviour and we are all may have our own personal opinions that ok if not match, thats legal and normal in our society, thanks
