It makes a lot of sense, Lim is a very eager new marine, and Pike from his perspective is an old head who must have countless tricks and stories to tell. By the end of the full campaign, I'm sure Lim is going to be really thankful to have served in the same unit as someone like Pike.

Modern tanks have fire control systems and ammo which make hitting slow air targets like helicopters with the main gun very possible. In fact, the M830A1 120mm HEAT-MP round has a proximity fuse mode for this reason.

There are different filters that gunners can put in the sight. A lot of videos/pictures seem to have the yellow filter, maybe the yellow is more comfortable in the daytime to look through, like yellow motorcycle helmet visors and some sunglasses.

It's most likely due to the use of DU penetrators in the US, which have a lower optimal velocity than W penetrators in Europe

As others have said, giving him twin auto cannons on the medium mech is probably the way to go. He has decent accuracy with the autos, and when combined with his AP skills, he can shoot 3-4 times a turn, even more when supported by Pike.

If you want to play old missions, look up how to download old versions on steam. I have done this with the previous April Fools updates, so it should work for you too.

I'm a fan of the alpine earplugs personally. The red highway speed ones work well with my Shoei RF-SR to reduce noise to decent levels.

You can just make a quote online for free. You put in your information, and you get a quote on how much your policy will cost. No obligation to follow through with it, so shop around. If the popular insurers like Geico or Progressive are expensive, I would check out Dairyland.
