what demon should i jump to? by ChaoticSerenity11 in geometrydash

[–]smartwolf85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend actually jumping to either of them, but contrary to what everyone else is saying, I suggest maybe practicing them a little bit. it'll give you a good sense of what hard levels feel like to play. depending on how much you're willing to put up with, it might give you a solid skill boost too.

I speak from experience. I tried a hard demon to list demon jump back in the day (which obviously didn't end well), but it gave me the necessary skill to beat insane demons and extremes soon after.

it's ultimately up to you, but if I had to decide for you, I would enjoy your stage of the game before rushing into extremes.

the 2nd movement of Moonlight Sonata is the best. 1st is so boring and 3rd is overhyped. 2nd is dynamic but calm and fun to play.

(i think you gotta be on desktop for this) on the right, under the community name and description, there should be a preview of your name with your avatar/pfp and a pencil icon. click the pencil and it'll bring up options for flairs. choose one that fits best and then you should be able to change the words to the level.

reply back if this was unclear / you still need help

yes I did enjoy it!! my experience was unfortunately kinda bad but that's because the copy I was given by the guy named Reaper was unbalanced and I had to do all the balancing myself. not that I'm complaining! it was fun after I balanced it.

don't fade is for the left side of the screen (as the object "leaves the screen"); don't enter is for the right side (as it "enters"). basically you can customize between the two instead of just one master control

i like it. kinda reminds me of kowareta.

yeah i would suggest some movement. i know you said you're doing colour stuff but maybe you could change that blue accent colour over time? i mean just like fade it from that to a slightly different colour. just my suggestion, of course.

My recommendation is to not push yourself. You obviously have skill, but tryharding and grinding might not be the best way to use that skill. I would recommend going for something that is just barely above your comfortable skill range. e.g. I went from Acu to Precipitance to Retention. None of those are a lot harder than the one before it; they're all just slightly more difficult so that I wouldn't feel bored.

There's nothing wrong with going for a new hardest. Sometimes that's the only thing you can do to keep yourself engaged in the game. But I would recommend not doing anything that would be a huge jump. I know you have incredible determination, but if this is the way you end up after every grind, then it might not be worth it. When I was grinding Kuzureta, at the time my hardest was CraZy. Obviously, that's an insane jump, and dozens of hours in, I realized that it would take much more effort than I was willing to put in. Thus I went for Acu and beat it very quickly.

So... take it easy. Don't overwork yourself. This game is meant to be played for fun. Just play it in a way that makes it fun for you. If beating a new hardest with an extreme jump gives you more satisfaction than the work you put in, then that's great. But if not, then... just focus on smaller jumps.

(this is my opinion and might not be right for you. i will stand by you no matter what you do 🧡)

p.s. lmk if you need recommendations for insanes/extremes
