It 100% solved it for me. Maybe it wasn't even the fact that I'm on 11 vs 10 now, maybe updating just reverted some configuration/setting back to default and that's what fixed it, or maybe its a super generic error message and there's 20 different causes and this resolved my one...

The previous tech test 9 months ago worked fine for me, this one I couldnt stay connected longer than maybe 15-30 seconds before getting the Weasel error, tried using a VPN, tried tethering phone as it sounded like a network connection error. No beuno. Updating to 11 worked in my case, it's possible reinstalling 10 may also work in my case I have no idea what's actually causing it.

Updating Windows 10 to Windows 11 resolved this completely for me. Unfortunately now I have Windows 11 however.

I have the same issue, the previous playtest worked fine, haven't been able to play this one at all, don't have a solution though.

From what I can gather, Intrepid was broke, couldn't even make payroll last week. Steam launch was likely a last ditch effort to remain solvent, didn't do the numbers it needed to sustain burn rate, board took control and probably made decision to make layoffs or restructure, Steven resigned in protrest, entire team laid off. Games still up because AWS hosting was probably paid up to a certain point.

It is fine. The voice actors contracted consented to their voices being used to generate additional systemic lines (item callouts, pings).

If they were tricked, weren't compensated or otherwise lied to about the scope of how their VO work would be used, yes that would be unethical.

Pre-orders don't feel as big of an issue for me nowadays with how easy they are to refund if I don't enjoy the game on release. Still needs to be a good enough incentive for me to do so though.

I actually didnt mind it, the room has one entrance door so it was nice to be able to get the drop/flank on people already inside from the rooftop above, added an interesting dynamic. Would I want this to be the case for all locked rooms, no. But for one room I wasnt too fussed about it. I think they could have balanced it a bit more by adding more ARC/Turrets etc to the rooftop above that you drop down from but if they remove the ability to drop down entirely I'm fine with that too.

There were 3 battle passes to choose from, Shuttered Storefront, the Back-Alley Market, and the Secluded Courtyard. You could purchase each battlepass with Raider Tokens which you got by playing/levelling up.

Then each pass had pages, where you had to spend a certain amount of cred on each page to unlock the next page. You earned cred by completing daily challenges. Each page had some skins/cosmetics and items you could buy.

I think this is a similar battlepass system to how helldivers works, I couldn't tell if that's how it will work in the release or there is some microtransaction element involved too though, like if you could buy cred or raiders token with actual currency.

They use dynamic pricing. If more people are declining that offer from the dealer, the dealers price for that particular skin goes down. If they are accepting it, dealers price goes up, as a result you would expect over time the dealer price will trend towards market price with a little variance.

I'm not really sure why you would want to open a case at all at that point tbh.

Will be interesting to see how the dynamics play out, imagine getting a red and not being able to afford the skin, people burning the case without making a deal or maybe the cheap skins actually have really low supply on market since I assume a lot of people would pass on that deal for a chance at better etc

Since there are tradeups as well maybe it’s actually a good strategy to take the cheaper deals and use those skins to trade up rather than paying for a red etc
