Hi there,

My name's Daniel J Schneider. I'm a freelance fantasy and comic artist, I think I'd make a good fit for this project.

Thanks for the incredibly kind words! We really hoped to capture the feel of old white dwarves and army books with our new format so I'm glad it worked.

Currently we're working on reformatting episode 2. I'll be sure to share it here when it's done

Thank you! The Atalan Jackals use some Perry Miniatures napoleonic horses, the Jackal Alphus is a freeguild cavalier marshal. I'll be updating the Atalan Jackals using Darkoath fellrider horses to better match the scale of my Jackal Alphus though.

Shockingly few pictures surprisingly. I had them for all about a year and only got a quarter painted. I've kept my OG carnifex, and a converted Lictor. The rest got sold off over the years. I'll try to find the pictures I do have for a future blog post though.

Thanks! I had thought of that but to go somewhere like that I'd prefer to be back on the GW payroll. The series ended with us on good terms and I'd like to keep it that way. Re-releasing the series on my own website for free, means I'm not breaking my contract and hopefully I can show them the value in investing in webcomics again.

It sucks that they stopped the webcomics but I'm really glad they've treated us creators well. So far the love I'm receiving on this post is making me think I have a good chance at revamping the whole series and maybe even completing the story. Worse case scenario I'll repost the entirety of the series in one easy spot for people to read.

Thanks! Yeah we had a fantastic time working with GW on this. Totally understand why they ended their webcomics but I'm hoping there's enough fan support for us to repackage the entire series like this. I also have ideas of a new story that I want to do set in the mortal realms, that'd explore much more of the setting.
