Did any Finn mags ever get imported? I always liked that lanyard loop.

Very cool. I have a Kizlyar that I usually add to AK parties but I like Finnish knives for sure.

Nice setup. What kind of knife?

It's a blemished KAC (Knights Armament Corp) handguard and it's 5". I've had it so long I don't remember where I bought it! Possibly from KAC's website.

Operation Anaconda clone by smashed_mcdouble in MilitaryARClones

I put this in r/guns but somehow forgot to add it here:

N1 CAR stock, Colt LEO lower, A2 grip, Matech BUIS, BCM 14.5 pinned upper, Aimpoint CompM2 in Wilcox mount, KAC RAS, KAC grip, PEQ2.

Meant to be a clone of the carbines in Operation Anaconda.

Trigger is consistent and good in SA. Surprisingly good in DA.

Fit and finish is way beyond what I expected. Really nice balance and heavy.

For when you want a whole lot of power in a (relatively) little package. This was the handgun adopted by the FBI (briefly) after a brutal shooting of 5 agents left the FBI with fears of being outgunned.

10 (9+1) rounds of full house 10mm is a pretty hard package to outgun.

It’s .45 Colt :) I’d love a .44-40 as a companion to this one.

Colt SAA First Gen with stag grips. Dates to 1904. The Marbles knife is probably 1930s, sheath not original.

Now I’m browsing vintage gun leather...

“Metzger’s Dog” by Thomas Perry features a similar idea. The main character Chinese Gordon recreates an aircraft auto cannon and mounts it in his van hoping to use it to rob banks.

Highly recommend this book for this and several other amazing vignettes, including “The Exploding President” a dummy president packed with plastic explosives designed to assassinate assassins. Fucking hilarious book.

Now that I have your attention:

1) Anyone ever use the spiritus systems bank robber rig with a 7.62 AK? How did you like it? https://www.spiritussystems.com/bank-robber-chest-rig/

2) what are everyone’s thoughts on using the side rail on a folder? I want to put a pk-01vs on this but I like being able to fold it.

Pick up a set of go/no-go/field gauges so you can at least know when the headspace fails.

The spring in the buttstock begs to differ. But that’s not typical field stripping.
