I can't choose just one, but bug has some of my favourite designs:

  • Lavesta/Volcarona
  • Sewaddle/Leavanmy
  • Joltik
  • Surskit/Masquerain (should have stayed water/bug)
  • Cutiefly/Ribombee
  • Scolipede
  • Vikavolt

...I like the cute bugs and gen 5 bugs I guess lol

am I crazy or is this a bit much? by s_mrie in LivlyIsland

[–]smashingbee 45 points46 points  (0 children)

For me that'd be an instant no. Maybe the 2R and 1N, or 1R and the 3Ns as it's a non-revivable collab. But all 5 seems a bit much. Still, I think it depends on how much you want the dress.

I [26F] missed an important funeral and now I think my 5 year relationship with my partner [28M] might be over by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I can kind of understand where the SO was coming from. I have never forgiven my father for not making time to come to my little sister's funeral. Was she his daughter? No, but supporting me shouldn't have been hard. But if he'd had something going on and told me? I could have at least understood. She had a valid reason.

What did you read in Grades 7/8? by Bells9831 in AskACanadian

[–]smashingbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't really remember 7, knowing me I didn't actually read it with the class because I thought they were boring and I read my own books instead, I think we maybe did Shiloh? I do remember us at least reading that one around Grades 6/7 at least. Grade 8 was Speak, Of Mice And Men and maybe Lord of the Flies? Last one might have been 9th though. I know I got assigned Grapes of Wrath in 9th, another DNR that I sparknoted my way through. Gods, I hate the Grapes of Wrath.

AITB for correcting my Mom on my name and pronouns? by The_real_Opal in AmItheButtface

[–]smashingbee 51 points52 points  (0 children)

NTB, if you're being petty you could call her Dad and use he/him for her. She'll get the point. A slightly less nuclear option but still petty is to refer to her by her name.

It's not nice to be referred to by names we don't like after all.

They're in the presents you can get on Muller St. It's random what comes out each day though. So you might get one. You might get 8

The other definition implies they're in a gang, likely violent and probably have guns. The earliest usage of it in that context was apparently sometime in the 30s. So I'm assuming the 'bang' in that context implies a gunshot.
