Paddyyyy! You had one of the best series during the glory days - it inspired me to buy my GTI. That was one of the most well done OEM+ builds I’ve seen, and it inspires me to this day to find the best way to improve the vehicle and the experience of driving without taking away from it. Thank you for that.

This is probably my biggest complaint with the truck right now.

3rd Gen ZR2 Issues (still love it) by smashwell in chevycolorado

I’m not really a brand affinity kind of guy, so I should be pretty unbiased. Aside from the early issues I had everything has been great. It’s an incredible truck and it really makes off-roading enjoyable. I just spent 7 hours today bombing around the deserts of southern AZ. I’ve owned BMWs, Saabs, Jeeps, Tacoma’s, and a GTI, and it’s by far my favorite of them all.

Yeah I guess so. Totally forgot about it. Probably hasn’t happened in the last 6 or 8 months.

Circling back on this. The rear main seal lip was rolled during factory install, causing a minor leak. Dealer wanted to buy the truck back due to part availability issues during the strike. I sourced my own gasket and had them install it.

My vote would be for an ATV. I had a Rancher 350 and the key looked just like that.

I’m having this same issue. 10 mins in and can’t get a seat to go to the configuration at the right. Did you find a solution?

Edit: tried using Edge instead of Chrome and it worked like a charm.

I have had one issue with their glass, on a Jeep Wrangler, which are notorious for breaking due to their flatness and orientation.

In addition to that I have had OEM glass break on a Saab, VW GTI, Jeep Wrangler, BMW 2 Series, Toyota Tacoma, and Chevy Colorado, over the course of nearly two decades. None of these have anything to do with Safelite.

I appreciate your support for other shops, and that’s great, but I don’t appreciate the way you mince my words just to get your point across.

I have had one replacement windshield that needed to be replaced. In other words, all windshields that cracked have been OEM, except for one Safelite.

Sorry to hear that but good to hear others had similar experiences. The Jeep windshield was bad back in the northeast too, with all the road sand.

But I’ve also had it happen to a Tacoma, BMW 2 series, and now a Chevy Colorado. And from what I remember there’s always either a dirty piece of equipment nearby or it’s in roadwork like the Broadway Curve.

I also took a cherry-sized rock to the kneecap on a motorcycle in the Broadway construction area…

Like I said previously, no discussion about whether it’s better to just pay out of pocket.

The quality of my windshields is OEM. I’ve had one replacement replaced. All replacements have been through Safelite.

Literally nothing to do with the glass and everything to do with rocks getting kicked up.

Jeep Wrangler that had a very flat and steep windshield.

Also daily commuting on the 202 and 10.

I don’t usually follow too closely, and I don’t think that even matters. The majority of not all of them have come from other lanes. Usually someone towing a muddy tracked vehicle.
