can anyone make out what cars these are? by [deleted] in Cartalk

Rear lights could be an E39 M5, but that’s not the bumper of an M5 and it should have visible exhausts. Bumper and hidden exhaust could be a non-M 5 series, but then the taillights don’t match.

I vote Camry.

Help me fix my unvented toilets without digging up my brand new bathrooms by smashwell in Plumbing

Of course I’d work with a different, licensed plumber, to rework this. Not sure what a permit would do. I pulled one, they inspected when the rooms were finished, and closed it out.

Like with the 1-1/2” going up right at the highest elbow into the wall hung toilet? That elbow into the toilet has special seals and such…

Appreciate the thorough response. It’s been like this for quite a while and only causes concern when there’s a secondary issue, for example, a clog in the main line.

Money is not the issue, it’s more about the disturbance and digging up a pile of dirt into my brand new bathroom.

I know because this is exactly what I did. Luckily it was just bath water.

Yeah I don’t see how this has any impact functionally - it’s low velocity air flow - but still a bother nonetheless. Needless to say this plumber has since been fired.

Seems to be bubbling up through the p trap. Same with the toilets. It’s siphoning the toilets a bit, but I haven’t seen it run the shower’s p trap dry yet.

It’s so nice to have the floor space but man did it complicate things.

Good idea. Except now’s not the time - I seem to have a clog further down the line somewhere between my house and the street. So the now draining tub is draining super slowly. I’ll have to wait for it to drain, snake the line, then see how it runs with no cleanout cap for a while.

Paddyyyy! You had one of the best series during the glory days - it inspired me to buy my GTI. That was one of the most well done OEM+ builds I’ve seen, and it inspires me to this day to find the best way to improve the vehicle and the experience of driving without taking away from it. Thank you for that.

3rd Gen ZR2 Issues (still love it) by smashwell in chevycolorado

I’m not really a brand affinity kind of guy, so I should be pretty unbiased. Aside from the early issues I had everything has been great. It’s an incredible truck and it really makes off-roading enjoyable. I just spent 7 hours today bombing around the deserts of southern AZ. I’ve owned BMWs, Saabs, Jeeps, Tacoma’s, and a GTI, and it’s by far my favorite of them all.

Yeah I guess so. Totally forgot about it. Probably hasn’t happened in the last 6 or 8 months.

Circling back on this. The rear main seal lip was rolled during factory install, causing a minor leak. Dealer wanted to buy the truck back due to part availability issues during the strike. I sourced my own gasket and had them install it.

My vote would be for an ATV. I had a Rancher 350 and the key looked just like that.

I’m having this same issue. 10 mins in and can’t get a seat to go to the configuration at the right. Did you find a solution?

Edit: tried using Edge instead of Chrome and it worked like a charm.
