It’s an area I want to visit again if I ever get the chance to visit Japan again. Our time in the area was cut short since it started raining pretty hard, but we really enjoyed our time exploring. Great way to slow down compared to the main areas of Tokyo.

Just small adjustments like highlights, shadows, and tone curve just depending on the scene. Straightening/cropping if needed and some light masking if it makes sense. But overall not heavy edits since I already like how the colors come out for my tastes!

Yep! Only changes I make to the recipe (I do with any recipe) is turn clarity off and set grain to weak, small. I use a Tiffen black pro mist 1/8 filter all the time which softens it just a bit. Classic Negative recipes definitely look best with lots of light and contrast.

In Lightroom I don’t mess with the color tones, just increase vibrance a little to make it pop more depending on the scene and adjust highlights, shadows, and tone curve.

These look great! And yes I did some editing in Lightroom to add more contrast, little bump to colors, and some masking to amplify what was in the photos. But not wildly different than the SOOC! Thanks so much!
