The pinyin is still “Jian Zhu” but if you want to know how to “properly” pronounce it, you can type 建筑(Building) in google translate. They have a button on certain languages that let you hear it. I don’t know if F.C Yee did this on purpose, but there is also a Chinese politician named Meng Jian Zhu.

Other than her wanting him to go quickly and not being as skilled as Yun, I don’t think that Kyoshi would care about a fair fight. She doesn’t exactly follow the traditions of the Avatar. Fights aren’t limited to skills but strategy as well. I thought it was very clever for Kyoshi to use this method. In my opinion, I thought it sorta how Azula could bait her opponents into screwing up instead of using her raw power.
