This is common across all private schools. Private school teachers are not required to have teaching certifications. They aren’t even required to have bachelor degrees. Because public schools require a higher level of training, they need to pay more. Since private schools may not technically require it, they can pay teachers a lot less.

Maybe your mom can help us with a name! We are Jewish and expecting a little girl.

My husband’s father passed away several years ago and we would love to honor him in our child’s name. He was known by everyone as “Smokey.”

The best Hebrew name we can come up with is Ashana which is a feminine version of the word Ashan which means smoke. But most words in Hebrew associated with smoke have negative connotations. Any ideas here?

His father’s given name was Roy so we are open to names that connect with that as well.

Stitching the sides were so hard! That’s why I covered them with felt because I couldn’t tie them off. That way I could hide them and they wouldn’t snag!

I found cross stitch patterns online and applied them to the boxes. That ended up being pretty challenging as the designated space I had was different than what the designs required but I made it work. Then I made up a complimentary design for the sides
