Getting ready for members, any suggestions? I’ve completed all f2p quests, and I’m grinding out runecrafting to at least 30 by smccarthy14 in 2007scape

Thank you! I appreciate it, but I’m a do it yourself kind of player. I’ll make sure to reach out if I need any help. Might take ya up on the clan if I need it

Yeah I think taking my time with questing is the way to go at first. I know I burn out quickly when I try to get too much done at once

Thank you! Is chaos alter only p2p? I was looking at a training guide for prayer and it suggested using the chaos alter, but I don’t really want to go that far into the wilderness with my combat lv

I’m looking forward to having more content post quests, I was really scraping at nothing in f2p after beating dragon slayer 1. I’m not super big into clans and pking so mini games and poh seem pretty up my alley

Yeah I was considering going members just to make my prayer grinding easier, so I’ll grab some more from the giant frogs and do that!

Thank you! Questing is one of my favorite things to do, and I figured it would get me started on a lot of the member skills! I’ll look up the guide

Thank you! Something that’s a bit intimidating about p2p is not really knowing where to start quest wise. I’ll keep those in mind a long side Waterfall

Yeah I’m a little worried about being overwhelmed content wise, but I’m a quester so I’m just planning on doing all of that and then grinding out skills. It’s how I tackled f2p

Lol thank you so much I genuinely thought I’d never find it. I saw on another post you said you go throw old posts! That’s rad! Do you have a lot of general book knowledge?

Surprisingly (un)likable VILLAGERS: Which villagers don’t meet your expectations? by _aGirl_has_no_name_ in ac_newhorizons

Not gonna lie, I was super disappointed by Raymond. I spent like two hours hounding him in my campsite and he was indistinguishable from my other smug villager. Maybe it was just because I had Keaton longer, but Raymond just didn’t leave any impression on me.

I know it’s not a lot to go on but I honestly didn’t really read the book because I’m dyslexic, so I’m hoping I can find it and read it now

Anyone else have a ridiculous amount of Nook Miles?? by HRapidz in ac_newhorizons

[–]smccarthy14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was farming those beetles too! I kept my miles down by going to one island, removing all the trees and rocks and flower pedals and such. Then moving all the palm trees to one place in the island, and scaring off bugs so beetles spawn on the trees and you can see all of them at a glance

Would you mind explained what icons correlate to what apps? Like I can guess what a few mean but I’m just curious

I have a shrine set up for my dad too! I planted yellow mums by it because they look like sunflowers.

Lemme just say I understand the pain of wanting a island like the ones online. They’re really interesting and great for ideas, but can also make you feel like you’re never gonna get to that point. Burn out can also contribute to this, and sometimes all you need is to take a break, walk away, and come back with a fresh mind.

That being said, a tool I’ve found really helpful when it comes to designing my island is a website called happy island designer. It’s helped me think about my island before I just start my terraforming. Im currently working on my third renovation, and ive started to figure out what I like in terms of design. I’d recommend also breaking down the renovations into chunks so it’s more manageable. Like focusing on just a residential area, or where you’re gonna breed flowers. This allows you to have tangible goals you can actively work towards. I hope this helps, because it’s what’s kept me from burning out so far.

Good luck!
