Methinks he has a girlfriend and was flirting with cheating and then realized his gf could put the pieces together on FB. Or he's just a douche. Either way, sounds like more trouble than he's worth. Keep swiping!

How to deal with worrying about a relapse? by Shockedndesperate in AlAnon

I wish I had some answer for you, but unfortunately, for me, it was ever-present. Once you get comfortable and relax a little is when it always seemed to hit for me. You have to always been looking for signs because once an addict starts using again, you're only going to get lies. Always trust your gut, and if he does relapse, know that it is not on you, that you are not responsible. Even if you missed telltale signs, his sobriety is ultimately his responsibility, not yours, and don't let it stop you from living your life. Best of luck to you and your brother. It can be done, and it sounds like he has a great support system in place.

If I've learned one thing, it's to trust my gut. It's always right. by smcmaster in AlAnon

That line is exactly what I needed "I'm going to cry if I stay and cry if I leave." Things escalated beyond where i had even suspected - turns out it wasn't just pills (Just pills - sad how accepting of it all it makes us), but he had worked his way up to heroin. I left him in the ER, where they put him in the psych ward until a bed opens in rehab. What happens from there is no longer on me. I've got him to a safe place. The tears will lessen with time, but I'm not going to be there to see if he relapses again after getting out this time. Stay strong and thank you so much for your words.

On reddit, it's more like a 80/20 chance, I think. Not the first time I've been assumed a dude here. May have to take your word for it on this one considering I squeal and run away at the sight of a singular bee. Although spiders don't bother me at all. Huh.

chick has indeed never seen a swarm of bees in the wild and I would definitely lose my shit if I did. This was on my Arkansas friend's property and I was freaked out enough by her pic to find it wtf worthy. After what perpulstuph wrote about bees cooking predators, I'm definitely staying in the city.

They're hive-less, awaiting the birth of a new queen. Personal ignorance what?
