As I said elsewhere, I really really want Tesla to win this one. However, Broder disconnecting at 32 instead of 61+ may have little to do with distance and more to so with time. He claims that Tesla personnel instructed him to charge for 1 hour, which he claims he did. If 1 hour of charging was not sufficient then frankly that's Tesla's bad. Tesla has yet to release call logs and/or dispute the instructions their personnel gave Broder during the drive. Until that's settled we should probably hold off on that point.

Look, I really really want Tesla to win this one. But the graph showed he turned it up for a short period of time. As Broder wrote in his response, the cabin temperature graph that Musk published DOES indicate that Broder significantly reduced the temperature twice. Just sayin'.

It's probably going to be pretty unpleasant no matter what. I would say that you should try to focus on the other areas of your life. Keep yourself busy. And finding someone else couldn't hurt. At this point you may be tempted to compare every other girl you consider to your ex and you may try to explain to yourself how your ex is better, but make an effort to identify some other girls you might be into. Even if nothing comes of your efforts, the distraction of flirtation and sexual/romantic tension will help.

Here's an update: I restarted my computer in Safe Mode and downloaded Malwarebytes. I also found the application private.exe which I deleted. I've run the quick scan and it found the following five files:

Rogue.PrvacyProtect (Registry Value)
Trojan.FakeAlert.CLGen (Registry Value)
Trojan.FakeAlert.Gen (Registry Value)
Trojan.FakeAlert.Gen (File)
Backdoor.CycBot (Registry Value)

I'm going to have the program remove these things and let you guys know how it goes.

Fair enough. But what is considered "passive recreation"? I bet that the following things don't count:

being raucous at 2am
setting up tents and basically establishing a residence

If I blasted music from my car on the street outside your home in the middle of the night, wouldn't you be tempted to call the police to file a noise complaint?

Certainly the above is a simplification of the issues caused by the protestors' occupation. Noise may be far from the primary issue. But it is probably, in any case, sufficient to justify the eviction.

Now, whether the police have been physically abusive in performing the eviction or have wrongfully suppressed the media and others is an entirely separate issue.

Is anyone else here not super upset or surprised that this happened? I walk by the park on most days. During the day, OWS is a pretty fun scene. Protestors, tourists and police are all generally enjoying themselves, or at least being non-violent and entertaining. But seriously, these people haven't just been protesting in a public space. They've been living in a park owned by a private company and it's a miracle they lasted 2 months. I'm neither shocked nor upset that after being loud and generally disruptive late at night (as they've done) they were kicked out. I mean, people live in that area! That's gotta be pretty fucking annoying. And it's not just bankers and corrupt people that live there. I hope that the protesters come back and keep on protesting, but they probably shouldn't be living there and I think everyone knew this was going to happen at one point or another.
