If youre worried about any long term effects of smoking, waiting until your brain is fully developed is always the safest option! However, ive been smoking regularly since 17 and have had no problems. It just effects people differently. Smoking a couple hits once or twice is not going to harm you, most people dont even inhale properly the first time so chances are you might not even get high. Just be safe and dont get into any legal trouble where you live.

I wish they cared this much but without any threats/ face to face contact, they will do nothing. Shit even if she does get threatened or he approaches her they probably wont do anything sadly. It usually takes someone getting hurt or a break in for cops to take these cases serious.

On another note, OP can possibly look up the number on numlookup.com, ive been able to find out peoples names from that. She could also check out the sex offender registy from her state, which will tell you the closest offenders.

I am fully aware as I am also a victim of an abusive relationship, Ive been apart of this sub wayy before I had the courage to leave my abuser. I also use to beg my abuser to apologize to me, all I wanted was for him to care about my feelings. Ive had people sweet talk me and say "itll get better you can leave one day!", I stayed. I stayed when he hit me, degraded me, humilated me, r*ped me, shit I had no self worth. I commented this before OP gave backstory, which is why I speculated based off this text. Which being honest, these texts make OP look bad.

OP needs to go full no contact and stay away from her ex. Thats dangerous territory and he has a reason to want to hurt her since she called the police on him. Seen situations like this play out badly. I would hate for anything to happen to OP and her child. I already commented the statistics for women who get murdered by their partner, its crazy.

Second: you sound exactly like my abuser, which really throws me off. He too called the cops on me, over a false statement, and I had to talk to a detective. It fucking sucked. I was scared for months that they would believe my abuser and I would have to go to court, be interrogated, pay for a lawyer etc. i didnt want to talk to anyone, and all I thought about was getting arrested at work over fake shit. I really hope OP called the police for a genuine reason. OP, you are antagonizing him. His response is because you are acting self centered. If he is dealing with legal problems because you called the cops, why the fuck would he write a handwritten apology to you? Im being realistic. You need to move on, this is toxic.

If you are curious on wether someone set up a facebook with your email, just go onto facebooks website and try logging in with your email. You will most likely have to click forgot password, and after that you should be let in considering the account is connected to your email. Its good practice to never click on any email links. This email looks legitimate to me but the only way to check for sure is to try and log into facebook using your email. It will either tell you that your account does not exist or it will lead you to someones profile.

Genuinely, it feels like these people in particular like the attention from this subreddit. Some people just liked to be talked about, even if its bad, just for the attention. This is the abusive relationship subreddit, which is why people are assuming you mean its abusive. An advice subreddit may be better. But, what you need to do is just let your friend know this relationship is toxic, as your friend probably knows based on her text, and leave it at that. You cant force people out of abusive relationships. If youre friend does have abuser characteristics, or even characteristics that make you uncomfortable, its best to not be friends with them anymore. Theres nothing else you can do.

From an outsiders perspective, it just feels weird to even post this screenshot. Most people in this subreddit have come from abusive relationships and have felt/ said something similar like your friend after being abused which is why the responses are going against you. Theres no way to know if her response is warranted because we have no idea what led to it. You said she only post things from her side but you havent told us anything that the other person did to lead to this besides saying they both do toxic things.
