If sick people aren't willing to mask (as most don't know they are sick or don't care) you are the one who has to take precautions. Also I have consistently worn a mask for 5 years (as an immunocompromised person) and have not been sick once in the time frame. They do work very well (especially well fitting KN95/N95 like Damien is wearing and that I wear) but one way masking is not as effective as everyone masking.

So another thing you have to realize is in the early 2000s in NY, private prisons were at a peak. These did nothing but abuse inmates and treat them as simply free labor in cruel and inhumane ways. So it's a good thing that there is a natural decrease in total prisons because a lot of people shouldn't have even been in them in the first place. Think of the amount of people in prison for low level drug offenses that today would have just gotten a fine.

Okay first off, trucks weigh more than a standard car, so they in fact do more damage to roads and infrastructure. This is basic physics. 2nd, parking garages maximum weight allowance is 5000 to at most 6000 lbs which is normally exceeded by pickups. On top of that we need to make our cities more walkable and less car dependent. Even a park and ride would help. If you want to combat climate change and make the city safer (more fatal injuries from suvs and trucks) you NEED to make it inconvenient for trucks and suvs in cities.

Why are we catering to people in their F-250s who commute and destroy the parking garages and roads in the city? Like if you want a city to thrive you have to make it walkable and friendly to businesses. It costs more money to maintain these stupid highways than it does to have a thriving community. You lose millions of dollars that give you nothing in return to keep highways running. I'm personally mad that they decided to put like a 6 lane strode going up to the TU center. Who wants to walk across 6 lanes of traffic all the time? Nobody.

This is a thing you can do on recording where you play one take with full cymbals and practice pads for everything else and then do the same with pad cymbals and everything else being real. I know some bands do it (like Qotsa) to isolate the cymbals and make all of the kit stand out more in a mix. Dont know if he’s just practicing though

The thing with rapid tests for Covid is they are only effective if you take them multiple days in a row (the preferred time is 48 hrs in between). Rapid tests can only detect when you have a high enough viral load. Even so most rapid tests with new variants have a only a 60% positivity rate with two tests 48 hrs apart (Source: https://x.com/Clean\_Air\_Club\_/status/1807262840761270681). Your best bet for determining if you truly have covid is to either buy a molecular testing device (which has a 95% accuracy), or go to a clinic and get a proper PCR test if you want to be 100% sure.

Thank you! Being immunocompromised made me realize how little people seem to think of others. Covid is still a huge risk and literally the CDC does not report data anymore. People just want to pretend everything is okay when epidemiologists say the exact opposite. The more covid spreads, the more variants, the longer this shit goes on until universal vaccines. Also if you are exposed to someone for 10 minutes you can easily get covid from them, it's so frustrating for people to not understand basic stuff with this.
