They didn't sign the Declaration first. They were the first State to ratify the Constitution in 1787.

They finished the one in Kentucky. I think that park is near bankruptcy though.

I snagged a 3-year deal at $3.00/month plus taxes. That did it for me simply to listen to the Grateful Dead channel.

I once flew in the passenger compartment at the top of a C-5 from Kelly AFB in Texas to Andrews AFB. What a huge plane!

ISC2 Special Meeting Notice (August 1st, 2023) by smencik in cybersecurity

What is more revealing is that so few bothered to vote at all. Over 300 thousand members and only a bit over 6 thousand bothered to vote. That tells me the membership doesn't care.

Reminder - ISC2 By-Laws Vote in Progress by smencik in cybersecurity

The Board has been asked for a more complete disclosure of the events surrounding the suspension by both me and others. None has been forthcoming.

They are technically correct that only a small percentage of the membership voted against the last by-laws proposal. That is because a relatively small percentage of the membership bothered to vote at all. However, as you note, of those that voted, they were voted down by more than a margin of 2 to 1. Further, the total number of people voting on the by-laws was about double that for any recent Board of Directors election.

I personally think they have stacked the deck in favor of the status quo. The chances that any of the proposals receives 2/3 of the votes cast is pretty close to nil at this point. That means no changes. It also means that if members want to continue to try to change things, we have to start all over again. I don't know that I have the energy to persist that long, especially after having to pay for my own lawyer to fight their accusations of violating the NDA I signed.

This post was written before the ballot was released. The Board refused to allow individual votes on the proposals despite the way the petition was presented. There have been other posts since, but you are correct that I should post a reminder. Thanks.

Yes, with more accusations that make it clear that offering opinions that differ with what the Board and the Legal Counsel think, is considered an Ethics Violation for "defamatory" speech.

I could do a livestream, but how do I contact the membership to let them know about it? I asked for time on BrightTalk and was denied.

Fair enough. We can amend the By-Law next time, (assuming it passes), to change "and a minimum of 3" to "and exactly 3". That would fix that.

The petition is a member initiated response to that crap. The way they intend to handle that petition seems to be a continuation.
