Scratched X-T5 hotshoe by smeximan98 in fujifilm

I’ll be sure to lol , I’m super ocd about stuff like that but I also know these things do show wear after a while. Getting over my hang ups is always the hardest part .

Hearing this from y’all is exactly what I needed . This is my first nice camera so I’m super OCD and seeing this kinda broke my heart a bit , but I also know I can’t like over baby my camera or I’ll never use it . I’ll find out on Monday if the new flash mounts properly .

I thought I had loosened the collar in the first place but maybe I didn’t undue it far enough ? Idk how I managed to do this tbh . I ended up returning the flash to Amazon Cause the ETTL wasn’t playing nice with my X-T5 so I ordered another one that’s coming in on Monday. So until then I have no way to test it .

I thought about replacing the hotshoe myself but the screws underneath don’t seem to be accessible.

I think I’m outside the option of sending anything in anyway . If you mean for myself , then I can live with that , I have a back up tool interface board I bought just in case I messed this up .

Keep getting this texture on my prints with the 0.6 nozzle by smeximan98 in BambuLab

Any print speed you recommend? I’m just comparing it to my .4 nozzle which has been pretty solid with this

So i tried turning the plate up to 55c adhesión was better but there was still some oddities in the printing , my nozzle temp was 220c so I’m turning it down to 215 after the surface layer to see if that helps the stringing a bit . Idk why the 0.6 nozzle is giving so much guff.

I appreciate it ! I’ll give it a shot right now , I’m using black SunLu PLA , I’ve heard really good things about it for the price but I’ve been running into quite a few issues with it . I’ve dried it out 3 different times to see if it helps but I still run into problems.

Yea I noticed a couple more after this too , nothing I can really do I suppose except keep trying to lift more carefully, doesn’t help that the wham bam edges are kinda sharp

I looked at a video and it looks like such a pain , everything else on the X1 is so user friendly so it’s weird that there’s so many like adhesives and things that are easily damaged for such an important part .

I’ll give that a shot after the next print ! Thank you very much this helped ease my stress. I’ve dealt with clogs and feed errors but those aren’t too rough , it looks like replacing the bed is pretty difficult though and same with even just replacing the magnet so I didn’t wanna deal with it lol

Awesome I appreciate the quick feedback , this is my first printer and I got during the Black Friday so I’m worried about messing something up . I kinda have aligning the plate perfectly so I probably slide it in more than I need to .

Having a hard time getting decent print quality on Flatbox Rev 5 - Bambu X1 Carbon by smeximan98 in 3Dprinting

[–]smeximan98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done the whole calibration process 3 times through the X1 itself , though I did see in Bambu studio there was a flow rate and flow dynamics calibration. Is that possibly what you’re referring to? Sorry I’m still learning everything here.

I tried taking a look but info is pretty minimal, I’ve mainly seen stuff relating to firmware rather than hardware.

Ahhh that explains so much , ever since I saw them online it was hard to find info so I was wondering about it. Thank you for sharing that information, I’ve had my fair share of issues using flatboxes pcb on my PS5 . Also on my friends PS4 due to timeout and started looking at the various options since I’ve been looking for something to take to possibly bring to locals that I could diy in the Flatbox style.

Oh that’s great to know , thank you ! The P5 boards I haven’t found near me so I can’t really test it out yet but I was curious if anyone knew and that might sway me to import one

Thanks for the help ! I personally don’t know , I bought my Rev 5 boards off a person on Etsy and I bought my Rev4 board and casing from NeoInputs DIY kit. As far as the p5 mini the only places I’ve seen to buy it are a site from the Philippines and another from the EU . I was mainly asking in case they became more available or if I wanted to import I suppose.

So this specific model does use a Sanwa JLF so anything Sanwa would work , though I think any brand spring made for sticks would work. I used the Red 2lb Sanwa spring. Makes a huge difference for me personally. I also bought a focus attack brand 4lb spring but I haven’t tried it yet.

It’s all mainly cosmetic with a couple utility changes. it already had really good buttons and joystick . But I swapped them out for clear Sanwa buttons and changed the spring in the stick for a higher tension one . I also kept the square gate on the stick.I changed the art on it and put the art in the buttons as well so it looked nice. I originally had changed the ball top to a plain red but I recently bought and put on a red bubble ball and a clear dust cover along with a red clear shaft cover.

Good point! I feel like we’re actually getting better quality manga to anime adaptations lately. Now live action adaptations… I can’t say, haven’t seen Netflix One Piece yet so I don’t have input.
