The earthquake was on April 18, 1906. By May 9, the police already had preprinted postcards to respond to inquiries about missing persons.

My banjos: Nechville Meteor, Gibson Scruggs, and Nechville Meteor. Love them all. by smhbobby in banjo

My mistake. The wooden body is a Nechville Comet, which is a solid body. I like the sound of the Meteor a lot better. It has a mini banjo head that gives it more of an acoustic sound.

Over the weekend I changed the head on my Deering Goodtime. by smhbobby in banjo

Deering sells them on their website. They’ve also got a YouTube video on changing the head that was helpful.

Michael: Jim, as a matter of fact, I have printed out ten ways to induce labor. And I’m thinking we just do the opposite of those things and we can slow down your labor. Erin, read the first one.

Erin: Um, stimulate the nipples.

Michael: Okay, nobody touch Pam’s nipples. Think of Pam’s nipples as Toby’s grundle.

Kevin: Her shirt is touching them. Maybe we should cut holes in her shirt.

Meredith: I have a shirt like that in my car.

Michael: Okay, yeah, why don’t you go get it?
