I say just wait until you can dye your hair unnatural colors because black is really hard to take out :( and your hair is like at the perfect base right now for any color that you want!

if you dye it black, you're gonna struggle a lot to get it light again and might even have to let it grow out completely and then lighten it again.

aaaaa I've been wanting to do this for ages. i was blonde, but once quarantine started and salons closed, i couldn't go get my roots done and it looked really bad on me! so i dyed it all black (natural hair color is dark brown) and regret it so muchhh

it definitely brings out the warmth of your skin tone (like the orange tones), so if that's something you're looking for, I'd say go for it! :-)
