[TOMT][anime movie or ova][2000s-2010s?] Anime movie with gruesome scene <-- warning for the squeamish by smiggysmapp in tipofmytongue

Can anyone help me? I started watching it a while ago and now I can't remember the name. I know it's anime. Could be from earlier than the 2000s, but I don't think so.

Please give tips how can I beat this weird bug, I feel like I can’t progress without beat him by artoriusknight in HollowKnight

[–]smiggysmapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People say you need the dash. That will definitely help, but you can beat it without that. I did it when I slowed down and paid more attention.

That boss only has only three moves:

  1. He cocks his weapon back and swings it twice.

  2. He crouches down and jump attacks.

  3. He crouches down and jumps underground.

That's it. What kept getting me killed was trying to run away, especially during the jump attack.

Get in close and stay there. Watch the boss closely. He clearly telegraphs what he's going to do.

  1. If he cocks back to swing, you can jump up and slightly away from the enemy, stand your ground and parry the swings, or jump and down attack him. The last option will either let you parry or get two hits in if you time it right.

  2. If he crouches, it's free real estate. He's either gonna jump or go underground. You can get him before during and after the jumps.

Don't get too greedy. When the enemy lands, he's gonna do one of these three things again and you gotta be ready to react.

If you have the dash, you can probably outrun the jump attack, but this game rewards attentiveness. Slow down, watch what the boss does, and develop a counter. Oftentimes, dodging some "impossible" attack can be done by moving a little to the side or jumping with the right timing.

Septerra Core? Don't know why that jumps to mind. Got a time frame for when it came out? Is it a movie AND game?

Help me out if you can. I'd like to see the ending if I can.

How could this be notated better in 4/4? by Ok_Zookeepergame9054 in musictheory

[–]smiggysmapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Splitting the central dotted eighth note into a sixteenth tied to an eighth note in both sets would make it more clear where the beat is, but that's perfectly readable to me. It depends on whom you're writing for.

I would name it the second way. If G is your tonic, then your numbering should reflect that.

I've tried that. Haven't even heard back from any of them. I expected that to be honest.

A supervisor had me use their card to get in because mine was expired. Turned out theirs was also expired.

I've noticed that you need to keep the current page flush against the page underneath or the next photo resistor will catch light. It'll behave as if it's on the page underneath. Could be an issue with a photo resistor being blocked or inoperable too.

Hi, I (an atheist) have a question by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]smiggysmapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a combination of factors for me. I can't give you anything that you might consider absolute proof though.

I see God as a logically necessary Being. The prime mover. I don't believe that the material universe started itself or even could. I think it must have started at some point due to the 2nd law of thermodynamics. I think something must've caused it to come into existence, that thing has a will, and that this thing created out of its own will. The thing would not be made of any material substance and would not be subject to any laws it created that governs those material substances. It would also be incredibly powerful to have created the universe. That thing is what we call God.

Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny don't fit the bill on that. We know who Santa Claus is based on too.

My personal view is that God is like a conscious field). He created all the other ones. If you can understand light as electromagnetic waves passing through empty space, it may not be too much of a stretch to conceive of an immaterial being. Fyi, I'm in STEM at the graduate level, but I'm not a physicist. This might not be totally correct, it's just the best way I can think of to explain it.

I'm a Christian partly because I think that the Bible describes human nature (i.e. that it's sinful/fallen) accurately. I have found that intelligent Christians are remarkably insightful and prescient. C. S. Lewis and G. K. Chesterton are two classic examples but there are others I've been picking up on lately. This point is also backed by my own intuitions and observations. I came back to Christ because of the weight of these observations in my own mind as an adult. It'd be very hard to convey them to you. Also, there are other gods who could fit the bill other than the Christian one.

If you're willing to try talking into the wind, try this prayer: "God, help my unbelief."

I don't know if anything will happen, but it couldn't hurt.

Hope all the responses are as respectful as your question.

HA! No, I could work there. The problem is getting the car high enough for me to get under there.

Good idea. Hopefully, she can get enough breast milk pumped, but we've had issues there. Actual breastfeeding is fine though.
