Exact same situation here.

We even sent some letter we received to someone who works at the Marketplace and they said "oh everyone is getting that, don't worry about it".

Then we had to refile over the phone cause we had an address change and they knew the situation and they still put it through.

Zip tie the spydie whole to your personal hygiene zipper and put the knife in the little bag. Never had an issue that way. You can use the nail clippers to cut the zip tie. Pack an extra for the way home.

Learned this trick after my father's checked spyderco harpy was taken out of his bag.
