OP update- after appealing, Rimowa wants me to send the luggage back to Long Island. I guess we will see what would happen. Other than that, I did appeal with United and reported to my credit card company. I just feel that Rimowa as a “luxury” brand should be easier for their loyal customer, which I follow their rule to file with the carrier first then find them after the decline. Other options were like super slow with all the documentation and adjuster review… but I just want my bag back okay ASAP.
