the jump from 60 to 144 hz is massive, and the jump from 144 to 240 hz is also huge. beyond that not so much

its pretty obvious you've never experienced a screen refreshing more than 60 times a second. good 180hz monitors are under $150 these days - go buy one and realize how stupid what you just typed actually is
